Who is FC Storm
FC Storm is LYSA's club (select) soccer program for girls and boys that provides more competitive training and playing opportunities. The program is comprised of teams from U7 and U8 (Juniors Academy) to high school. These teams play very competitive soccer in local (Cardinal Premier League), regional (Buckeye Premier League) and state (OSSL) leagues.
Vision
community rooted competitive soccer --- FC Storm is a community based club (select) soccer program for girls and boys that offers a higher level of training and competition and enables players to train and play with friends and teammates, and coaches over multiple seasons and years.
Mission
growing players – we want each player develop to his/her fullest potential. We will utilize coaches and trainers who are passionate teachers, deliberate trainers and patient instructors to advance the soccer skills of our players .
having fun – we believe soccer should be a fun experience for our players and their families. We believe soccer is best taught in an atmosphere of positive feedback. We believe in celebrating success on and off the field, and encouraging players with positive reinforcement.
giving back – we believe in investing in our community. We believe it is a privilege to play club soccer in Loveland, and that soccer should not be just about ‘me’. We want our players to see the needs of others in our community. Each team is expected to undertake a community service project each season as part of its investment in the community.
preparing for tomorrow on and off the field – we want the experience of playing club soccer to help build skills that transcend soccer and help our players be better equipped to be successful in life. We believe participation in Loveland Storm FC can help build character; develop responsibility and leadership; promote self accountability, and teach the value of teamwork and perseverance.
Team Formation
New teams are formed through an open tryout process. Once formed teams will hold annual tryouts each spring.
