Socctoberfest 2017
LYSA is proud to bring back our 2nd annual Socctoberfest!
This is an exciting step in the evolution of our passers program and we want to maximize the fun and participation by everyone involved.

Tournament Goals & Setup
The goal of this tournament is FUN. As always, we want to promote the game of soccer to our children and show them how much fun it can be no matter the outcome. Therefore, we will be breaking the teams up into two Groups for both boys and girls. The groups will be formed based on the wins/losses in the first 5 games of the season. The point of this is to make the games more competitive and FUN for everyone. Teams will play each other in their assigned groups. Points will be gathered for wins and ties as we have done in the past, as well as a few other opportunities for points. The games will be played on Saturdays at the end of September and in October, with the top two teams from each Group playing a championship game on Sunday of the last weekend (Oct 22nd). Coaches will be sent the details on the schedule and scoring, or you can check the link shown in the next section.
Dates and Location
The games will be played at Paxton Ramsey Park, VFW and Betty Ray fields. We plan to stagger start times to minimize traffic flow and distractions.
